BSc Study – Privacy Policy

ATechPublisher (“we”) provides the BSc Study Android app (package name com.atech.bsc). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and who else may receive it.

1. Who this app is for

BSc Study is for Bachelor of Science college students. It is intended mainly for users in India. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

2. Information stored only on your device

The app stores language and theme, bookmarks, download history, PDF reading settings, mock-test progress, and whether Premium is unlocked. This stays on the device unless a feature below sends it off the device.

3. App-generated device ID

On first launch the app creates a random ID. It is not your name, phone number, or Google account. We use it to save mock scores, a short leaderboard label, and continue-learning history for that install. This ID and related scores are stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database.

4. Information you choose to send

If you use Suggestions, your email app can send your name, optional email address, and message to atechpublishererror@gmail.com. We use that only to reply and to improve the app.

5. Advertising (when you are not Premium)

The free app shows Google AdMob ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open). Meta Audience Network may also fill some ads.

These partners may collect or infer advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app details, and ad views or clicks.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings. BSc Study Premium removes ads in the app.

6. Analytics

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which screens are used and to keep the app working. This may include device or app identifiers and in-app activity. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

7. Purchases (Premium)

Payments are processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether the same Google account has an active Premium purchase so we can turn ads off. We do not receive your full card number. Manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

8. Study materials

BSc Study helps you find notes, papers, syllabi, books, and similar educational resources. Some items are our original work. Other items come from universities, IGNOU, eGyanKosh, publishers, or other educational sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party materials. Rights remain with the original owners.

If you are a rights holder and want something removed, email atechpublishererror@gmail.com with the title, a link or screenshot, and proof of rights. We will review and remove or unlink material where required.

9. Permissions

The app may use internet and network state (content and ads), advertising ID (ads and analytics), storage on Android 12 and older (saving PDFs), vibration (mock-test feedback), and billing (Premium). On Android 13 and newer, downloads use the system Downloads folder.

10. Sharing

We do not sell your name or email. Data is sent to Google (Play, Firebase, AdMob), Meta when Audience Network serves an ad, and RevenueCat for purchase status, as described above.

11. Retention

On-device settings remain until you clear app data or uninstall. Firebase mock and continue-learning records are kept while we operate the service. Ads and analytics partners keep data under their own policies.

12. Your choices

  • Buy Premium to stop ads in the app
  • Reset your advertising ID in Android Settings
  • Limit ad tracking in your device Google settings where available
  • Uninstall the app to delete on-device data
  • Email us if you want us to remove leaderboard or sync records we can identify

13. Changes

We may update this policy. The in-app copy and this page will show the new date.
